Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk programme drawn up

VITEBSK, 21 April (BelTA) – The programme of the 19th international arts festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk has been developed, Director General of the Vitebsk cultural center Rodion Bass told a press conference on 21 April.

In his words, there have been completely drawn up the scenarios for the concerts of the opening and closing days of the festival, the Days of Belarus and Russia, solo performances of the Russian pop stars. There have been defined members and chairpersons of the jury panels of the contests.

The names of the participants will be unveiled after the organizing committee headed by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Potupchik confirms the programme of the festival on 23 April, Rodion Bass added.

The 19th international arts festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk will take place on 9-15 July. Its programme will consist of the major events at the Summer Amphitheatre: the opening and closing concerts, the Days of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moscow, the concert of the Union State performers, the Vitebsk 2010 international singing contest, solo performances. There will be three additional concerts for the youth at the music venues in Victory Square.
