A ceremony was held at the Minsk-based Church of All the Saints to rebury remains of three unknown soldiers, killed in the Patriotic War of 1812, WWI and WWII.
Around 250,000 people attended festivities that were held in Minsk on July 3 on the occasion of Belarus’ Independence Day that also marks the anniversary of the liberation of the capital city from the Nazi invaders, said the press office of the city police department.
The 19th international arts festival Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk will take place on 9-15 July. Its programme will consist of the major events at the Summer Amphitheatre: the opening and closing concerts, the Days of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moscow, the concert of the Union State performers, the Vitebsk 2010 international singing contest, solo performances.
